Will my item be identical with the one in the picture?
Your item will be very similar, but probably not identical with the one you see on the photo. Live plants, leaves and flowers are not 100% identical. They can also take different shapes and change colour a bit differently during the process of drying. That is why your item will slightly differ from the one on the photograph in regards to the size, hue and shape of the plants.
Did you kill those insects?!
Of course not :) If a piece you're interested in features any real insects rest assured that were found already dry at my family home, where many insects seek refuge during the winter and just don't make it. No living creatures were harmed in the process of jewellery making, and none ever will.
How and where do you source the plants?
I hand-pick the vast majority of them, either locally or in Poland. I always make sure I'm not taking too much from one plant, treating it with all due respect and care (no tearing, shredding or wasting the picked parts of the plant). I do buy some dried plants for specific projects from time to time if they are especially hard to find. You will find more information in the product description of each item.
How do you pack the orders?
The items are packed in small recyclable kraft boxes. I do use bubble wrap to protect the products however, I only reuse the bubble wrap I already have at home (from my own parcels/deliveries) - that's why sometimes it's not 100% neat, but certainly kinder for the planet.
How do I care for my jewellery?
In spite of resin being UV-stable, I encourage you to avoid leaving your jewellery out in the sun for long periods of time, because it will eventually turn yellow.
Please, don't wash your dishes while wearing resin rings and avoid hitting hard and scratchy surfaces with them.
Don't expose the jewellery to dissolvents and abrasives.
